Ezra
Hi everyone, I'm new to the world of Logic and I've got a question! I got a Akai MPD32 and I play the drums with it within Logic. But sometimes when I record sometimes it is not in time or out of bpm and I have to start all over again. Where can I find the function that allows the midi data to regulate so I have a consistent beat. (I tried to Google it but I can't find the right words for this particular problem) Thanks everyone! David Nahmani
Do you listen to a metronome while you're recording?
Ezra
Yes I do and I'm able to succeed with it but it takes a lot more time than with such a function described in my topic.
David Nahmani
If you prefer recording without a metronome, then you can use Beat Mapping to have Logic detect your tempo and create tempo changes: Beat Mapping MIDI Regions.
