laxdill
Hello i am having an issue in regards to sampling on logic pro with my mpd 26, When i choose the method of selecting the region, converting to new sampler track, then selecting "Create Zones from Transient markers" everything works, and my mpd26 will play all the notes. However when i choose to cut my own regions, then select those regions, convert to new sampler track, and select Create zones from Regions, my mpd doesnt read it, i can see the notes but simply nothing will play.Thank you in advance
laxdill
and if no solutions maybe another method for sampling?
David Nahmani
The two methods should yield the same results. Make sure you use the correct trigger notes? It's a common mistake to assign samples to, for example, "C-1" then to try triggering them with "C1". After converting to new sampler track, Logic creates a MIDI region on the track: does that MIDI region trigger the EXS24 samples as expected? What MIDI pitches are the notes? When you play the pads on the MPD, does it trigger the same note pitches (you can see those in the Transport bar where it usually just says "No in")?
