No speed up/slow down option in inspector..why?

I am trying to get a record a slowing record effect on a audio sample in logic 9. I have used the crossfade tool to get a volume fade but I do not get a speed up or slow down option in inspector. I have searched how to do this effect and it says to simply click on fade out to get slow down but I am not getting that option.. help!

click on fade out

Fade and out are two distinct parameters. You have to click on Fade to get the slow down option.

 

Alternatively, control-click the fade directly on the region itself and choose slow down.
