Switching between two samples [SOLVED]

Hello

 

I'm embarrassed to be asking this here, but I've forgotten how to do it...

 

I have two finger cymbal samples, one open and one closed. I've managed to get them into my Latin Kit EXS24 instrument. I want the closed one to shut off the ringing open one, in the same way as a hihat does. I'd be very grateful for the answer.

I think you will find this section of the manual, helpful.. in particular the note about HiHats and the Poly Parameter.. at the bottom of the page.

Ah.. then hopefully someone more skilled, will be able to assist you.. David, Ski, J etc....?

In the editor, add the two samples to a new group - select them both and drag to the left hand panel. Then select the group, change the view mode (top left) to group not zone and make it monophonic.
