CarlosUnderground
Having huge latancy from Playback. Buffer is 32 and, cant think of anything diferent in this concert other than a Korg Nanokontrol. Could it be the culprit? My concert has 2 playback tracks, one goes to out 3-4, the other to 1-2 as a click. Output 5 has a vocal and it sends to a bus that outputs to 1-2. 1-2 is my headphone mix, so I get click, vocal and some Playback track. Any help is apreciated. Oh, gig is tonight!!! Thanks

Playback has a higher latency than other plugins, that seems to be a feature to lower CPU load. Why is the latency for a background track important? If you want to trigger something latency sensitive try EXS or UltraBeat as an alternative.
melodea
C'mon mmm42, what's the point of having playback tracks if you can't start them in time with the tempo of the song! As a live musician that's crucial! Everything else, Markers, the Performance window etc are exactly what a Live Machine should have. To play my backingtracks, BVs, Horns etc from EXS 24 can't be the solution.
CarlosUnderground
The problem I'm having is, I hear one thing in my headphones, and what comes out of the PA is late. So, I'm always playing "before" the beat. Make sense?
melodea
I had a problem with a click being late compared to the rest of the tracks.....Solution: the click came out on the main channels which had a limiter inserted which caused a incredible latency of 60 to 70 ms! The other tracks came out of channel 3/4 and 5/6 and had no plugs inserted. Take all that stuff out!
CarlosUnderground
I'll take a look. Strange thing is, it's happened twice and, in one particular venue. It's a small place so I thought, maybe it's acoustic problems? I'll speak to the owner to see if we could rehearse on an off day, just to check it. Thanks.
