LogicIsDoomed
I'm trying to print out a .PDF of my Logic Pro 9.1.7 score. 1) I hit command P 2) The printer dialog window opens 3) I select Adobe PDF 9 as my printer 4) I hit print and nothing happens!!! 5) I repeat steps 1 - 3 and then choose "SAVE AS PDF" and still NOTHING happens!!! In every other program on my Mac, I have no problems saving to pdf. Can someone explain how I can save a .pdf score in Logic Pro 9.1.7??? Thanks
Eric Cardenas
Where are you saving the PDF?
LogicIsDoomed
Where???? Logic is installed on my Macbook Pro, so I'd be saving the .pdf onto my Macbook Pro hard drive or maybe to an external hard drive. Whatever the case...Logic does not allow me to save any score to .pdf. When I hit command P and select "SAVE AS PDF", the usual 2nd dialog that pops up that allows you to choose where you want to save the .pdf, this 2nd dialog DOES NOT even appear. NOTHING happens. Even when I try to click "PREVIEW" in the print dialog window...NOTHING happens! Print, Preview, SAVE AS PDF, NOTHING works!! Gravity Jim
Eric is asking you, "Where on the hard drive." Sheesh. Why not Skype up your ol' college buddy? I hear he knows everything about Logic.
LogicIsDoomed
Does it matter where on my hard drive that I wish to save a pdf file??? I may wish to save it anywhere. Desktop, a Logic score files folder that I create, it my documents folder. Where ever. I tried reaching GERH about this but he hasn't returned my call yet! LogicIsDoomed
Never mind guys, I figured everything out myself. Basically tried to print again and this time I selected "SAVE AS PDF-X" and then everything was GOOD to go from there.

Problem is that you should be able to Save as PDF the regular way. Did you try restarting the computer?
LogicIsDoomed
Yes. Tried restarting my Macbook but that did not work. But thankfully the solution I described above saved the day!
