triplets
If your interface doesn't have a separate output for headphones you can't.
Jimi-Dharma
I don't know of a way to make solo'ing a track send it to a separate bus or output, BUT If I were trying to achieve this I would: -Highlight the channel strips needing this, -Setup a send on all of them(in the same slot!) -Send them to a bus going to my headphone's output, -Set the amounts to 0dB -Assign a controller to turn on/off the send of that slot number. Per track or on selected track can both be done, but you need more buttons for more separate tracks. What scenario are you in that makes you want to do this? If you're doing live sound and processing a few things through logic and need to cue things in your headphones without taking them out of the mix, that can be done with most multi-track interfaces' included software like Presonus' "Universal Control" or Motu's "Cue-Mix Console." triplets
Have you tried using CueMix?
Jimi-Dharma
So just to be clear, you want the solo button to SWITCH the output from your main output to your headphones? I would try the same instructions above with the sends set to "Pre-Fader," and then make the button used for controller assignment to also mute the track. Twister
I would recommend getting to know CueMix FX and see if it has a solution. I'm using the RME Totalmix to switch between monitors and headphones, and my audio interface even has a button that I have assigned to toggle between them. Works like charm.
