ging
Does anyone know if the FF800 supports scrubbing. I can't for the life of me get it to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, -ging
David Nahmani
I think it does. Click pause and move the playhead.

editbrain
just to let you know. i could not hear anything until i used the scissor tool and scrubbed with that. then for some reason it started working. LOGIC 7.2.3. try that. I know it sounds stupid, but it is what i had to do. p.s. i had to push the pause button for it to work without the scissors. David Nahmani
Well switch to built-in and make sure scrubbing works first.
skillet
I am using a Fireface 800 on PPC 1.8 and it is working just fine when I pause and move the SPL or when I use the scissor tool. It also works as should when the preferences are set to normal or double. However I am confused about the four parameters slow, normal, fast & faster (see below). They don't seem to make any difference from what I can tell even when I tried it with setting a key command for scrubbing. Anyone have any ideas? pg380 in the manual Scrub Response This parameter determines the reaction time for audio scrubbing. Choose the value that works best for your system configuration. Options are: Slow, Normal, Fast, Faster. That is not all that descriptive. Also thanks David for the pause tip I didn't realize that! David Nahmani
Those driver setting parameters are for scrubbing in the sample editor.
