Thomas91
If I load an EXS24 inst in the samples/zones page, the global parameters for the inst are loaded as well... Is there any way to just load the inst w/o the global parameters?
Twister
By global parameters do you mean those in the green main window? They shouldn't change no matter what you do in the instrument edit window.
Dave Regolith
Sounds like you are loading stuff from the editor page - is that right? Otherwise the instrument may have its settings saved - you can recall default settings in the options page - took a screenshot here http://exs24samples.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/options1.png If it's neither of those...sorry no idea
Mark R
Is there any way to just load the inst w/o the global parameters? I think what you want is in the screen shot Dave Regolith provided above, the option called "Delete settings from instrument". It's a great feature for using sampler instruments as you would use waveforms in a synthesizer. One caution though, it goes in and completely removes the instrument "green window" settings. This is powerful but can be destructive if applied by accident to a sampler inst. The next time you load that patch you will find that the instrument settings window doesn't change at all, it keeps whatever you had there from your previous inst or edits! The manual suggests making a copy of your instrument before applying this option to the copy. The manual covers this feature here: http://help.apple.com/logicpro/mac/9.1.6/en/logicpro/instruments/#chapter=12%26section=
