Is there ANY way to get around this??

 

I have a bit of midi outboard gear and it really hacks me off when I'm tweaking something and because the track of another piece of kit is selected and 'R' enabled, it ends up changing parameters on that unit.

 

Really annoying. Is this for real or am I just being a klutz??
