Splitting a keyboard assignment

Hello. I searched this forum but wasn't able to find what I needed. I'd like to be able to split my midi keyboard assignment so that I have 2 identical sets of keyboards to be able to play bass lines using two hands (using Trillian). Is this possible? Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure this is possible in Logic, at least with EXS24, unfortunately I can't remember how to do it. Rest assured, someone will find a way, but I think the answer is yes you can do that. If I find out, I'll let you know.

Thanks. While watching the tutorial video for Trillian it appeared that it was being used this way, although they didn't discuss this point. I'm hoping it's possible.
