bypassing amp in the amp designer [SOLVED]

is there an amp setting as if it was bypassed? i dig the plug in but sometimes i need just the cabinets

I' ve never used it, but Amp Designer has the Transparent Preamp.

Not as far as I know - but as it's just been mentioned, you could use the Transparent Preamp model.

In case you may need it, there is also the option to use the Amp without a speaker sim (Cabinet:Direct )

the cabinets can be used to get rid of digital artifacts which can sound really annoying and make the sound warm "old school tape-era".....

Thank you. It's just seems counterintuitive, if we are dealing with virtual instruments and, as I would call it, virtual signal flow. The idea, I thought, is to mimic what happens in the real world. That said, I would never have considered going from a guitar to a cabinet, sans amp. It would not have entered my thought process. And, from a preamp, I would go direct to the board or another amp. But, I've certainly learned something.
