girltunes
Happy New Year, LPUGs!...am trying to purge unnecessary software installed in my macbook pro OSX 10.6.8 -- memory is filling up! I still have Logic Pro 7 but never use it -- am using Logic Pro 8 -- is it ok to purge the Logic 7 - or is it somehow connected with Logic 8 since I upgraded from 7 to 8 -- I'm almost embarrassed to be asking about this, but I just want to be safe rather than sorry! Thanks!!
NickMagick
As tedious as it is. . . and it will be. . . I've heard you have to pretty much go into the folders and see what you have duplicates of and what you don't and drag whatever you want from 7 into the 8 folders. There may be a quicker way but I'm not too positive, don't quote me on that. I went from 7 to 8 to 9 all upgrades and have never deleted any of the content for that exact fear lol It's not a dumb question, the only dumb question is the one you didn't bother to ask. Good Luck!
