Importing 3rd party plugins into the Media Library

Does anyone know how to import a plugin (like ImpOSCar 2) and its patches in the Media Library if it is possible? If I add a track, the system defaults to an Apple instrument from the Library. If I change the plugin to a purchased AU Instrument, everything works fine but the Instrument still shows as the Apple Library instrument, as in the attached screen shot. If possible I would like to select the 3rd party instrument from the Media Library tab, just as I would if it were an Logic native instrument. Then the tracks would be named correctly and patches could be accessed in a more standard way between different manufacturers plugins. Not a biggie but I am wondering if anyone can help

It really depends on how the plug was coded.

 

On some of my 3rd party plugs the presets can only be accessed from the plug interface.

Hi

 

You can load in each preset and save the plugin setting within the Logic GUI, or save the entire channel strip.
