BlackSparr0
Hi! Logic Pro 9.1.8 The plugins that have graphical feedback lag a bit (if I have only one open), but with several plugins open it lags even more! I don't think it matters what kind of plugin I have open, it happens with all the plugins that I've tried. I should also mention that I've got an external monitor plugged in via the minidisplay port, but there was no difference when it was unplugged. This is a pain in the butt, especially when mastering! Is there anyone who knows how to fix this?

BlackSparr0
That thread did not help me what so ever! That thread adress another, but somewhat similar problem. Am I the only one that is experiencing this issue? Performance overall is just fine, it's just the visuals that lag. I used to have logic pro 8 and there were no problems with it, I'm guessing that my problem now might have something to do with mountain lion... it seems as if a lot of people are. BlackSparr0
I should also add to say the the goniometer is utterly useless even if only one plugin window is opened. One more important thing is that it doesn't matter how many tracks or effects I have, if there are more than two, it lags!
Matt Mayfield
It's the Logic 9.1.8 update. Certain customers were apparently complaining about performance issues with particular 3rd-party plugins' GUIs, so the solution was apparently to cap the frame rate of all plugins' GUIs. Seems to me like a "solution" to a rare problem with a lot of collateral damage to the majority...
BlackSparr0
That sounds like a retarded solution really Why would they make the fps change depending on how many and what kind of plugins you have open? It lags the most with the Multipressor. Me and a friend tested the same thing on his computer, wich is pretty much the same, and we got the same results! LAG! I wonder how he couldn't have noticed it yet...
