riggers1
Hi, When I I drop multiple samples into the editor area the samples seem to stack on top of one another rather than across all the keys as it usually does with say 10 or 20 samples. Do I have to load fewer samples in or is there a way in which I can continue to map across the keys and scroll through the octaves? Any help would be appreciated as I cant be bothered going through all my one shots and breaking the banks up! Cheers.
David Nahmani
I haven't been lucky with any of the EXS24's automatic zone mapping methods... except one: drag all your audio regions in the Arrange area, select them and choose Audio > Convert Regions to New Sampler Track, then choose create zones "From regions". Peludablanca
It works fine for me. Zone > Load Multiple Samples then select the files and click done… A dialog let you choose between three ways: Last one probably is what you're looking for, select from which key and every sample how much keys… When I choose the first one and the second options, I adjust EXS 24 preferences as Root Key Position 1 and use Midi notes numbers as Root Key instead of Key name and octave and works fine. (C3=60…) Hope this helps you…
screenset99
Hold option when moving the samples and the root note will move with it
David Nahmani
It works fine for me. How many samples did you try loading at once? Zone > Load Multiple Samplesthen select the files and click done… A dialog let you choose between three ways: Last one probably is what you're looking for, select from which key and every sample how much keys… I did exactly this with 50 samples, choosing a sample every 1 note and got this: I did exactly the same with 10 samples, choosing a sample every 1 note and got this:
Peludablanca
I don't know why it does not work for you, but that's what I have:
