junebug
Hi All, I intend to get the free Blue Cat freeware plugin pack II. Which platform do I use, or does it make a difference performance wise? I guess my real question, is one better than the other? AU, RTAS, or VST
Jordi Torres
You need AU if you're using Logic. J.

Eric Cardenas
AU for Logic Pro ( will also work on mac versions of Studio One, Reaper & Digital Performer along with VST.). RTAS & TDM for Pro Tools 10 and older. AAX (Native/DSP) for Pro Tools 10 and forward on. RE for Reason. MAS for Digital Performer. DP also supports AU and VST. VST Cubase/Nuendo and all the others (Studio One, Reaper, Digital Performer, Samplitude/Sequoia...). Has had several updates but the most common formats are VST2 followed by VST3.
