EdgarRothermich
This is one major oversight. It seems that Andrea Gozzi from Redmatica isn't ready to leave his footprint on LPX yet. Let Apple know to pay him some extra overtime hours to get it finished for v10.
David Nahmani
I find it hard to believe that Apple would hire Andrea Gozzi and not have him work on the EXS24's successor. Therefore my best guess (and dear hope) is that we'll "soon" see a Logic Pro X update with a new redesigned sampler. Meanwhile user Benco reported that: 1. There is "Output Labels" under Instrument menu in the editor. It gives custom names to the outputs when used in multi output mode 2. Audio File Tale option in zone editor. You can add different sample Source: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=97097&p=506535&hilit=exs24#p506535
Darude
- time stretching & flex-pitching - old school realtime sampling straight to EXS - loop length lock + loop moving possible (even an ASR-10 had it 15 years ago!)
anamorphis
I really hope David is right. Not just the EXS24, but in my opinion the previous instruments and effects feel really out of place with the new look of Logic X. They did a great job redesigning the B3, the Clavinet and Electric Piano, so one can only hope they do the same for the power horses like the EXS, Ultrabeat, Sculpture, Compressor, EQ, etc, etc. Fingers crossed!
