Getting Home-made Vocal samples Into Logic

This may seem like a dumb question, but I've been pondering it for a while. I make dance music and my vocal glitch sample set is just lame. I have an AI with mic inputs but no mic. I'd like to make mostly things like breathing sounds and just about anything I can come up. I like to use one completely off the wall percussive sound in my tracks. Also, some random one liners put through a vocoder and seriously processed are a staple of house music right before the drop.

I can't ever seem to find exactly what I'm lookin for so I figure make my own. I'm not a singer and I think sound quality is not that important for what I'm trying to do. The only way I can think of is to use the voice memo on my iPhone, text it to myself, then open it up in my iMac and drop into Logic

Anybody else do stuff like this? Any ideas? Or just get a cheap mic?
