BobTheDog
Hi Guys, I would like logic to auto track zoom when I select a region, is this possible? Cheers Andy
xsiter
hi Bob, you can try the arrange local menu view>>auto-track zoom. any track you select after that will zoom. enjoy. -Gabriiel
David Nahmani
You still have to select the track though, you can't just select the Region.
BobTheDog
Hi Guys, Thanks for your replies. I have the auto zoom for track set on but I would love it to autozoom the track when I click on a region, rather than having to click on the track and then the region. reeloy
no way... control + arrow buttons is an overall zooming...and it stays with the actual songposition up and down arrow buttons alone will navigate you trough your tracksheet, so you get pretty fast to the track you wanna see... should be enough... don´t trust your mouse.... editbrain
i thought there was a key command that would allow you to zoom on a region. i don't have my key in my laptop so i can't look at the key commands.
marcel72
i thought there was a key command that would allow you to zoom on a region. i don't have my key in my laptop so i can't look at the key commands. There is - select the region and press Z, which will zoom to fit this region in the arrange window. What the original poster was looking for was a way to auto zoom the track the region is on. steveH
The key command you're looking for is: "Zoom to fit selection vertically and horizontally, store navigation snaphot" Pick a region or two and use the above command!
guavadude
this may be old news, but option control enables the zoom region tool. I've been using control to zoom and just always thought that the zoom tool only worked if you we off a region, in blank space. I'm loving this now. I also use F1, F2 and F3 as my zoom presets and command F1, etc to store.
steveH
Yeah control/option zoom does give the flexibility to rubberband a region internally to zoom in on specific contents of a region. The above mentioned key command will zoom in on the whole selected region/s.
