mkdub
Hi, The individual volume controls to the right of each track name have disappeared (see screenshot). I'm guessing I accidentally turned them off. Can't figure out how to turn them back on, any help appreciated. They seem handy for creating a quick headphone mix when recording vox/guitar (ie: turning everything else down so I can hear myself play/sing) although I'm sure there's a "proper" way to do this I haven't figured out yet. Thanks.
David Nahmani
Zoom in closer, they'll reappear.
mkdub
So simple... awesome, thanks. How do I mark a post as solved?
David Nahmani
Great! Click the "edit" button at the top left of your original post, and add [sOLVED] at the end if the title.
Eriksimon
The "proper" (other) way to do this is the mixer (although how you're using it and why is perfectly legit, that's why those controls are there). You can open and close the mixer with key "X".
mkdub
Thanks for the mixer tip, I accidentally found that last night too. Logic Pro is brilliant. Last time I had a studio 15 years ago I was using Cubase and it was only just beginning to scratch the surface of all the stuff I hoped would one day be possible. Boomer6
I'm having the same issue and when I zoom only the regions get bigger and smaller, the edit window stuff stays the same size and still no faders? I feel like an idiot LOL.
Eriksimon
You are zooming vertically, gotta zoom horizontally. Also... You can configure the track header to show or hide these (ugly) faders. Just control or right-click in the grey area of the track header to get this contextual menu:
David Nahmani
when I zoom only the regions get bigger and smaller You don't want to zoom the workspace here, you want to widen the track headers, as you can see on Erik's animation in the post above.
