DrewMusic007
So I finally got everything up and running - thanks again to everyone especially David for all of the support. So this is nothing really, just kind of a retro thing in C - the keys are a little sloppy due some minor Rewire latency so if anyone knows how to rectify that I would be in your debt. Again folks, just a little test file to make sure everything was running...
DrewMusic007
Did I not attach this the first time? TestSong.mp3.zip Just a test song...
editbrain
I like. I am from Memphis, TN. I now live in Little Rock, AR. I was raised on that swing, blues, rock, riff type music.
DrewMusic007
Thanks man, yeah I was born in Memphs too. Germantown to be exact. 75' to 80' Before we moved to the ATL. Hopefully that little spark might turn into a real song, the only trouble is finding an Otis Redding or Sam Cooke to get it there vocally. AllyMusicGirl
Hey - I like this how did you get that bass tone? Looks like we're using the same set-up?
DrewMusic007
Huh? That was just a test file, nothing too fancy. Thanks for the kind words - the bass tone, just my UX2 and dead strings on my 66' Jazz Bass. There's a great setting called "68' Groove", it has the functionality and tone of some of the B-15's and SB-12's I have owned - it pretty good, but like you I'm getting a smidge of growl on my E string - not sure why. editbrain
the growl could be coming from the neck? maybe the bass needs to be reset. have a guitar tech set it up again.
