caitiffchoir
Anyone else having this issue? When I share to iTunes (a feature I love), for the last two weeks or so, no matter how long the project or section is, every time I bounce anything, there is an extra minute (roughly) of silence at the end of the audio file. Even when I just do a standard bounce, I have the same problem. This doesn't seem to be an issue with exporting individual regions as audio files. I have narrowed down the problem and it is a mastering chain that I purchased, which uses a lot of Waves plugins (ssl comp, center, puig child...) However as none of these are reverbs or delays, or anything dealing with temporal content really, I'm confused as to what might be the cause... Should the number of plugins I am using have any kind of effect on this? Or do any of you know of any problems with the following plugins maybe causing this? Waves (all in stereo): REQ6 C1 compressor SideChain Center LinMB LinEQ Broadband PuigChild 670 SSLGChannel L316 SSLComp L2 Dorrough Logic: Multimeter Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance for anyone who might be able to shed some light on this mystery... Eriksimon
Even with a standard bounce, you say... so even when you set the locators in the bounce dialog the file is longer than that? Have you unchecked the Include Audio Tail option?
caitiffchoir
I did uncheck the audio tail option, and that gets rid of the problem, but I want the verb tail at the end of a project... It's a weird malfunction
Eriksimon
If you want the reverb tail, just play your project and LISTEN when this tail is "done" and set your end marker accordingly. Always avoid that "Include audio tail" feature.
