mksprior
A few weeks ago I selected 'Bias Peak Trial Version' as my external sample editor through the advised method (By assigning a key command to 'start external sample editor then triggering it and choosing a program). However, i have since bought the full version of 'Bias Peak' and need to tell Logic Pro 7.2/Mac OSX that I want it to open THIS program when I command it to open external sample editor. How do i do this? p.s. I have tried removing the old trial version from the system... now I just get an 'unknown system error" when Logic tries to locate what IT thinks is my preferred external sample editor. Thanks, Matt
ben_perkins
I seem to remember there being a file in user preferences (home folder>library>application support>logic) that held that information separately from the main preference file. Get rid of that file and logic will prompt you to assign a program as your external editor next time you try to open one.
David Nahmani
It's actually in ~/Library/Preferences/Logic/External Sample Editor. As Ben said, trash it and select a new one.
