AllyMusicGirl
I know I'm putting these in the right folder - why are only a few available in Logic Express? Is it because I'm in Express? Also I have two libaries on my Mac - A user specific and the main system library does it matter which Library / Audio / Plug In's / Components I drop them in? Please help! David Nahmani
You should try Logic Pro > Preferences > Start Logic AU Manager and make sure they are checked and passed validation. The root folder on your system drive is for plug-ins you want ALL of the users on your machine to have access to. The user folder is for the plug-ins only YOU will have access to. If, like most home users, your system is setup with a single user, it shouldn't make a difference, although I wouldn't bother moving a plug-in that was placed in a particular location by an installer. AllyMusicGirl
Oh bugger! No luck David, looks like they don't even show up! I downloaded a bunch of goodies too!
David Nahmani
They might not be for your particular processor (you need UB or Intel version if your mac is Intel)?
dven
Fishfillets, daHornet, LFX, & kingdubby are all PPC only. It's a real bummer that most of these probably won't get the UB update. I'm glad I've still got a PPC machine for some things! cheers, dorian

David Nahmani
Yup, you've got an intel machine, so you need plug-ins that are intel or Universal Binaries to be recognized by your system.
