basgroot Posted June 22, 2014 Share Posted June 22, 2014 So far it's either a comped track, or a track that allows cutting it in pieces for timing edits. Can't do both. Don't see why. I have to first export the comp to a new track before I can make timing edits. If I have a comp where various recordings had usable pieces but with some timing errors, it's very difficult to get it right. I don't see why that's impossible, computers are really good at these things. Track comps must already have a hierarchy of offsets relative to the track part start and the sample count in the audio file.
