sound609
This is odd. Whenever I hit this certain key on my M-Audio Axiom 61 in Logic, I get no sound, and it appears no Midi data is being transmitted (according to the little display in Logic). This happens in different songs and with whatever soft synth or plug-in I load up. This same key works fine if I open up, say, Elektrik Piano, in standalone mode. Has anyone seen this before? What gives? Thanks for any help...
sound609
Just to clarify this happens in ALL Logic songs, and I've also installed Enigma and had it resend the presets to the keyboard.

shivermetimbers
It's a common problem with Axioms. That key has been assigned a controller function. Check your key commands and your controller assignments in the Preference section.
Subtonic
I had almost this same problem. I had a key (D5) that would activate but it would send no note off message, but it only behaved that way in Logic. Here's what I did to fix my issue. Logic Pro > Preferences…> Control Surfaces…>Rebuild Defaults After hitting that the problem went away. Maybe it will work for you.
sound609
Thanks for the help/comments, I'll have to remember about the all rebuilding default control surfaces. It turned out to be something really strange. For whatever reason I figured I'd try taking my USB hub out of the equation and that fixed it. What's even more strange is that I tried it again with the USB hub afterwards and it STILL worked. Can't imagine how the USB hub would make the key not work in Logic, yet it would work outside of Logic. Guess I'll chalk this one up to gremlins in the hardware.
