Logic express 7.2.3 big sound problem

i recently installed logic express 7.2.3 updated from the 7.2.1 version

 

i have an imac intel core 2 duo. my problem is that logic seems to recognise only 4 tracks in the sequenser. i loaded this morning the NIN_CapitalG song and i hear sound only from one track. i tried to load 6 wave files i created in ableton live the other day and logic plays only the four of them. What is the problem, is it the 7.2.3 update

Open Audio > Audio Hardware and Drivers, raise your number of audio tracks, then uncheck "Enabled", click OK, check "Enabled", click "Try (Re)Launch".
