ok....I used a bit of LOGIC and I believe I have figured out the great mistery....

Tell me if I got it right!

1. create a beat in a region....I used BFD drum module to figure this out.....

2. demix it to separate reagions by note....

3. bus them all ...lets say....bus 1...(keep bus 1 @ zero)

4. change demixed region output to nil....

now it gets crazy.....get ready to obsese for a few hours....

5. create audio aux chanels to match with the amount of demixed regions....one for eack drum track....

6.set the output to each AUX to a different instrument out.....not sure what they are on the exs or ultrabeat....but BFD has it mapped out in the manuel. basicaly there is a different instrument out setting for each drum mic...

7. bus them all to BUS 1 set the bus level to 0.0

and bingo.....your mixing all drums separate using the AUX chanel strips and faders!....you can now ad that reverb to the snare without it killing the kick....

FAAAAAK i have been here for days!

If im wrong please kill me now!

e.

It's too bad you've spent so long trying to figure out all that, because it's all been covered in some other threads!

I read them...I just neede to do it...and spent the time to figure it out....

I dont know about you.....but my ADD prevents me from just reading something and doing it. Most of the time I read and re-read....and ask questions until finally it works out....

So I have a question.........

Using the ESX....and multi tracking.....were do I look to find which Instrument out matches with each drum....or...hmmmmmm

Basicaly....... were do I go to figure out the routing for each drum....?

You need to go into the edit menu (just right of the loading window) and have a look in the Group drop-down menus. In there you'll find the EXS Output box where you can choose your desired channel.

Same rules apply with the left/right pan selection.
