David Nahmani
You should be able to left-click the Settings button to open the shortcut menu. No need to right-click. Channel Strip Settings and Patches are not exactly the same thing, since Patches are actually more powerful: they can contain multiple channel strip settings. But yes, the new way to work with those is to use Patches in the Library. You should still be able to left-click to access your Settings menu though...? sila92
Oh! You learn something every day! But no, im not getting any response when i left click the "setting" button. Im only getting a response when i press the little arrow beside it. But that only open the library.
Eric Cardenas
Try this on the settings button. Left-click but try holding down the mouse/track pad button for at least 1/2 second.

JakobP
Couldn't help noticing a curiosity in the screenshot of the Library, Audio 1 is selected in the Track area, but the Library arrow points to the Aux 1 channel strip ? Maybe Eric or David could explain ?
David Nahmani
the Library arrow points to the Aux 1 channel strip ? Maybe Eric or David could explain ? That just means that the Library is displaying (and allowing you to choose) patches for the Aux 1 channel strip. The fact that the Library can now point to the right channel strip in the inspector is a new feature in 10.1.

sila92
Actually it crashed when i tried to use loops. It couldnt save the project, and ended up crashing. Perhaps its something that causes both these problems?
sila92
Okay, ive think i found the problem... In the change of LP9 to LPX, ive deleted the "audio music apps" folder. As i understand it, i am now screwed. I try to save and load patches now, but it cannot be saved. Anyone know if i can fix this?
Eric Cardenas
I answered you in your other post. Audio Music Apps deleted
sila92
So, after reinstalling it again it worked! Even the right click on the setting button! So the answer to me was that the Audio Music App was not containing any files, so by deleting the empty alias and reinstalling Logic again, it now worked. Thank you so much everybody that have helped me
Eric Cardenas
That's great. I'm marking this one Solved.
peejaypv
I had the same problem recently. After I read your article it is solved. Many thanks! I just deleted the Audio Music Apps ALIAS in /Users/.../Music/Audio Music Apps and substituted with the folder of another instance of Logic installed in another partition (that had no issue with CSS) and ... voilà!
