I've also heard good things about the relatively new Western Digital Blue SSDs. Atlas007 Posted September 20, 2017 Share Posted September 20, 2017 One of the downside an SSD drive had compared to mechanical drive was its possible recovery after a crash. But that's no longer the case, One other problem, was the limited number of read/write cycles compared to mechanical technology; but again, that was resolved.
