  1. Maybe I was not clear enough. It was a deep uninstall . I had to delete the Apple Loops folder. By the way I am on one of my Macs @ Sonoma 14.4.1 2015 MacBook Air open core patcher and the Apple Loops are on a USB stick. Every thing is fine here. Maybe time to reinstall th whole Mac and go to Sonom
  2. I had a similar situation on an older MacBook Air. The only thing helped was deleting the App and reinstall it with a fresh download of LogicPro. Have you installed GarageBand? Maybe installing this could help as well.
  3. The load on the e-cores increases by 5-10 %. If I open other things like jpeg mini or safari or edit a png with "Vorschau" this increases the load on the e-cores more. I have to look for project which really forces all 10 cores to the limit. I have the feeling that with Sonoma 14.4.1 Logic runs much better.
  4. Here a test with a mixed project: 10 tracks with all kind of fx... 10 tracks 40 tracks 320 tracks
  5. Logic is not craping out at that moment. I have a system Load of 6-7 % at that moment. I can Here is the screenshot wir 328 tracks. Just copied the song again and again. In this case the cpu load is 15%
  6. So then buy a M1 MacBook Air and spare the money or wait for a M4. My old 2015 air is still fine with logic and latest Sonoma. I never would buy a Mac because I would like to use Logic. On PC there is Cubase, Tracktion, Reaper, ReasonStudio, ..... so no need for a Mac. My experience a Mac lives longer than a windows PC. Here a pic of the spacial demo on my M3 max. My last post and last advice on this thread. Buy A 16" MacBook Pro M3 Max
  7. @Sascha Franck I do not understand this discussion. Every body knows the performance of the different M chips. M1 is a bit slower than M2 and the same with M3. Logic is one of the oldest and for me the cheapest DAW. No update costs since first release. So I have to live with it as it is. Moaning doesn't change anything. Not at Apple. Your MacBook Air with M1 or M2 or M3 is not a pro machine for making music. It is okay for 60 not too heavy tracks and that's fine. 13" is small for DAW but 8 hours battery live is fine. So you get what you buy. If you need more you have to spent more. I have both an Air for to go and Max 16" for the heavy work.
  8. I am on a MacBook Pro 16" with the M3max. And yes Logic is not using the efficiency cores. So a M3 is worth than a M2 with more efficiency cores. If you want to use all cores at the moment only Cubase 13 and Reaper have found a way to utilize all cores. There is a Vid from a Korean/Singapure ? guy comparing this. I heard that Apple is working on that problem. But who knows?? On My MacBook I can handle > 160 tracks with fx midi with no dropouts.
  9. Hi I am on a MacBook Pro M3Max with Sonoma 36Gb Ram 2Tb SSD. Not any beachballs nor long loading. 150 + tracks (Audio and midi and plugins ) no problem. I really would do a complete fresh install including deleting and newly formatting the HD from a stick.
  10. I use it and it is a lot of fun. No Problems with the actual LOGIC version
  11. @JamesK Yessss! I am not alone!!!!!!!. I having the same Problem with the Logic Interface. I don't find it inspiring. Michael
  12. Definitely sounds like a minor bug to me - if Logic decides to honour the "virtual" transposition in the editor, then all editor functions in that window much honour it as well... Do report it... done
  13. I hope I can describe it with good words. I have a bass line c1, d1, e1. I transpose it up with the transpose function. With the new function in 10.2.1 this transposition is shown in the midi editor. When I now use this "fold button" so only the active notes are shown in the midi editor nothing is shown because logic still thinks the notes are at c1, d1, e1 and not c3, d3, e1 Michael
  14. Danke, I just run Reaktor as stand alone and go via IAC-Bus. This way tound it works acceptable Michael
