Hi,
I want to use the sustain pedal to control a keyswitch, or more specifically: I've loaded a sustained strings patch, and a staccato strings patch onto one instance of Musio (or Kontakt, or whatev). I set the sustain instrument to midi channel 1, and the staccato to midi channel 2. I have the routing set up correct if it's a note on situation, but I'm hoping that I can make this function like a piano, and have the sustain patch only play when the sustain pedal is down.
I've figured out that if I go to the switches page of the articulation set and then select type as controller, selector to 64 then I can successfully trigger the sustain patch, however, I can't figure out how to make it switch back when the sustain is released. I tried setting the controller type for the staccato patch also to the sustain but with a value start of 0 to 10, and it's not working.
I would think that the secret here is in setting the mode to "toggle" but I'm not having success with that or momentary, etc.
Thanks in advance!
