  1. Thank you for this. I'm pondering adding a track pad and this article helped!
  2. Hi, I've had this problem before. I unplugged my Novation Launch Control while Logic was active and now it's stopped responding. The workaround is to tediously reassign all the mapping to the plugins. Logic shows controller activity in the transport window, but doesn't send this to the mappings I've set up in Controller Assignments - all mappings show up in the Controller Assignment window. I can reassign new mappings, but not access the ones I've already mapped (16 banks!). I've tried using Time Machine to revert to the two Logic prefs, no joy. Am I missing something please? Thanks, Alexander
  3. Solved. It had something to do with Izotope De-crackle 6. Removing this plugin removed the latency problem. Go figure!
  4. Thanks. I've done a lot of variations with buffer size etc. It's a real pain! Cheers

  6. It's just the overall thing. As soon as I add one side chain comp it produces this latency problem. It's a big jump. I've had 100+ tracks with large processor loads and get the same thing, but not when I add 1 comp with side chain.
  7. Het scg, Thats right, the latency is there. Thanks!
  8. Hi there. I have a problem with latency induced when side chaining. I'm on a fairly new project with low plug in count. When I try to side chain one track form another I get a delay from when I press start to when the music starts, and a delay from when I press stop to when the music stops. I have tried Logic stock compressors and 3rd party ones, still the same. The delay is quite large and affects changing plug in settings as well. I have tried creating new channels and no difference. Thanks!
  9. That did it! Thank you for your time, you really helped me. Have a great day! Alexander
  10. I don't have flex mode enabled prior to recording. Nor was it ever enabled at the start of the session. I wonder if there is a setting somewhere that automatically flexes any audio? Here is a very quick vid: https://we.tl/t-pIBISuFEw8 Thanks!
  11. Hey Jordi, Thanks for the reply. No, I don't have flex and follow turned on. Thanks
  12. Hi there, All the audio I record defaults to turning on Flex Time, Flexing the audio and this produces time stretching glitches. I guess I have something turned on somewhere? I have had a good look, but can't see an option for this? Thanks in advance, Alexander
  13. I never do that. I believe this was a problem that has occurred since the 10.7.7 update. I have just downloaded 10.7.8 Awesome!
  14. Yup. I will watch for this from now on. I prefer a minimal amount of information on my arrange window. This was my downfall!
  15. That was it! Thank you so much! It seems that it was sticking rather that switching off when changing channels. When I did as you suggested Logic responded correctly. Thanks agin, Alexander
