TheoneColeman2015
Hi, I'm installing from an original Logic Pro 9 disk and having the installation fail every time. It gets passed "validating packages" etc but during "writing" it stops and i receive the "Installation Failed" message. I have tried burning a disk image of my CD in order to install from that but having the same problems. I'm wondering if this is because i'm running Yosemite and trying to install an older version. But I like this version, and it cost me A LOT OF MONEY! It cannot just be obsolete now. I'm aware of the upgrade needed once installed and have already downloaded it, ready to update once i've installed Pro 9 again. My problem is, why am I getting this error and is there a way around it? Massive thanks in advance iMac Spec: Processor: 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Memory: 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB OS: Yosemite - 10.10.3 (14D131)
Atlas007
Few thoughts: I wonder if there is a certain limit of installations you can make for a given copy, exceeding same could probably cause that to fail. Besides does that CD is a full install or an upgrade version? OTOH, do you have admin right/access to that computer?
