JCcares
Hello guys, I have a question on copy paste.I am trying to copy & paste a region of an audio track that does not start exactly on the down beat of a measure. It starts in an odd spot in the chorus.I would like to copy this & paste it every time the chorus repeats on the same 'odd spot' of each chorus part of the song.I only know how to paste at the start of the measure.Any workaround for this? Atlas007
I'm not at the studio... Isn't there a grid value to choose from in the dialog box that pops up when you Choose Edit > Repeat Regions from the Tracks area menu bar, from within the Adjustment pop-up menu...? David Nahmani
Yes, you can try to use Edit > Repeat Multiple, I believe that's what Atlas007 is referring to. You can also click your Snap menu and choose "Bar" and "Snap Region to Relative Value" and then Option-drag in position (roughly, since it will automatically snap where desired). JCcares
Thanks for the replies.I can probably paste it to the exact grid value but it's still a lot of work.David mentioned "Relative value" .Does that the same position within that measure on a different measure of my choice? Yes, that's the very purpose of that feature.

David Nahmani
You're welcome! And yes when Snap is set to relative value and Bar, you can stay zoomed out and Option-drag to copy the region in its rough position (basically the desired bar) and it will snap in the desired position. For example if your region starts on 1 3 2 41 then it'll snap to N 3 2 41 where N is the bar number where you drag the region.
