ianm
I have upgraded to High Sierra on my IMac and my midi device is now not found. I have a midi keyboard which requires no program, just connect via USB. It has worked fine up until the upgrade. Now, nothing. Has anyone else experienced this and are there any suggestions to fix the problem?
Eric Cardenas
What kind of keyboard is it? Are you sure it didn’t require any drivers?
ianm
What kind of keyboard is it?Are you sure it didn’t require any drivers? It's a Yamaha DGX-230 and it has never required drivers. I have always just connected with USB and there have been no problems at all. Now with High Sierra ...nothing.
Atlas007
Have you updated High Sierra to current version (v.10.13.1)? Does your Yamaha appear in the AMS app?
Solution ianm Posted November 19, 2017 Author Solution Share Posted November 19, 2017 Thanks all. The problem has amazingly fixed itself. I don't understand how but it is recognizing everything now. All I did was reboot twice and bingo. Thanks again.
