jimdilian
It is quite amazing the quantity of Bugs that logic has. not matter if it is on the side of graphics, editing, Logic Pro X is filled with bugs.
kerochan
So I have heard jimdilian! Logic 10.4, unreal the amount of complaints. Bug free here on Logic 10.3.2, El Capitan!
jonparadise
No bugs experienced here, best release for years IMO.
Enrize
Let's wait for 10.4.1. They probably was in hurry to release it before NAMM. I'm sure most of the bugs should be fixed. But i also does not experience any major bugs with 10.4. Maybe it's running better on latest Macbook Pro with High Sierra.
anp27
I've experienced just ONE bug so far when typing in negative values. Apart from that, 10.4 has been pretty stellar.
Glenn L.
I have experienced weirdness with 10.4 that I've never run into before. Maybe it was me and the new tempo adapt function, I don't know. My prior templates always had a 2 bar count in, and recorded in cycle mode. Now, when I hit record, there's no count in, and the cycle bar disappears. Probably a function of the new 'adapt' setting.
jimdilian
I have experience like 40 bugs at least here on Sierra. iMac 2011. quite amazing.
JamesK
I found this release to be incredibly stable and haven't run into more than 2 bugs myself. I use another DAW as well ( less and less ) but as time goes by Logic is the solid performer by far.
maceasy
What is more amazing is your fact free claims.
fisherking
40 bugs? make a list, post in the bug support forum here. file a feedback report with apple: https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro.html for me, 10.4 is great, no issues have cropped up (yet); some cool new features have cropped up tho. so, am in agreement with your thread title, at least... Glenn L.
When the dust settles on this update, I am really going to enjoy recording without a click track, and really enjoy using all the VIs that I've had for a while, but haven't used because I find the whole keyswitching setting up a buzzkill that just annoys me. I'll also enjoy looking at Chromaverb when medicated...

I use another DAW as well ( less and less ) but as time goes by Logic is the solid performer by far. Same here. I often need to use another DAW, but visiting their forums and seeing the many, many posts about bugs and new (paid) features not working as advertised soon puts the quirks in Logic into perspective. Eric Cardenas
Software has bugs. That's normal. 40 bugs is just a small percentage of all current ones. The question is if those bugs affect your work or not. PS. Has anyone spotted the "Gain Gain"
skijumptoes
Only poor experience i've had is with the new EQ's, nothing major - just niggles (One project experienced CPU overload until i removed a tube eq instance, and there is a noticeable delay when adjusting one of the EQ's). Other than that, 10.4 has been amazing - at least from a song writing/basic mix perspective, as that's all i've done.
snorkybingo
I've avoided LPX like the plague due to the amount of problems I've had with it but my recent update to 10.3.3 seems to be running well. At last!

kerochan
No bugs experienced here, best release for years IMO. Good to know jon, Though I am totally paranoid about updating to Sierra just to find it not compatible with various 3rd party stuff! reassuring though, thanks. skijumptoes
How anyone can make a mistake like that is beyond me, not saying i'm superior but i'd never make such an error with accidental duplications. Particularly not for everyone to see. *rolls eyes*

fisherking
eric, sure you're not just seeing double double? EDIT: it could be worse... http://floydfisher.com/images/gain.png
Glenn L.
Another bit of visual weirdness I am getting is the play head is the first thing that appears when booting 10.4. Didn't catch the 'gain gain' thing because I use a different limiter, lolol.
