ermetic Posted May 9, 2018 Share Posted May 9, 2018 In my opinion a "gain knob" on each channel would be great, so you can easy select all channels and drag the volume down how much you want. so you can -have headroom without touching the faders and losing resolution on channel's fader. -you don't have to put a gain plugin on each channel -you will have instantly the headroom you want without touching the master output or bus channels. The result would be the same, but maybe faster cause you don't have to select all tracks, put in the VCA Group and then lower the volume. You just select all tracks and lower one gain.
