Sascha Franck
IMO it's just stupid for the tuner to not remember the mute status when you switch it on/off. I thought about a workaround of creating a dedicated tuning screenset, but that doesn't work (the tuner simply disappears when switching screensets). Whatever, each and every real life tuner you can find these days has a mute function and does *not* forget about the status the next time you're using it, so it's completely beyond me why the Logic incarnation does so. Fwiw, I do in fact love the idea of having a tuner available all the time (even if the display could be improved a lot - the "needle smoothing" isn't exactly working too great), after all I'm a guitar player in the first place - but tuning with a fullblown overdriven sound along with delays and what not isn't exactly desirable, so I need to use the mouse all the time when a simple keystroke to open the tuner should be sufficient.
