Ableton 'Simpler' equivalent

Recommended Posts

Why can't we get something like Ableton has, you just whack a sample in it, it would copy the sample to the project folder and save the settings to the project. EXS is powerful but I avoid it all costs because honestly even after 10 years I still forget where to save things, all the different settings you can save etc. It's honestly so dreadful for quickly getting ideas down. I use Serato Sample now, which is brilliant, but this seems like such an easy thing for Logic to implement it's baffling to me. Am I missing something here?
