Gianni_Gon
Hola hola, I've never had this problem before. I just added an audio clip (mp3) to a track and the tempo was automatically changed. Normally it doesnt change it or at least I get asked beforehand if I want it to be changed. What could be the reason for that? The track Im dragging the file to is an empty audio track. logicben
Make sure you have Keep Tempo (Keep Project Tempo) enabled.
Gianni_Gon
Yes, Keep Tempo is actually enabled. I really can't figuer out what it is... Weird thing is that, even if I decrease tempo (only in the section of the track) it still does not affect the inserted region. It is a dramatic tempo change, by the way. Like 300% Just in case that gives any hints to what is happening?
Goergtn
Also, you might check your notifications in your prefs. I had a similar problem with MIDI files, and discovered that my prefs were changed to “never” ask to change tempo, just do it automatically. Changed it back to “ask”, all was fine after that. Gianni_Gon
Okay, I'm gonna take a quick look at it. Thanks! edit: nop, I dont see anything alike
Gianni_Gon
May be it is a sample rate problem, not tempo: viewtopic.php?t=82460 Edit: so it's also not a sample rate issue. I just imported an audio file with the same sample rate as the project and the tempo was changed again. I really can't figuer out what it is
