Singingdorito
Hi folks, I've been coping with an intermittent problem with logic pro 10.5.1 on an iMac 10.14.6 for the last couple of months. I'm diligent about command-s, saving the project regularly. Today, when I came back to my file that I had saved at 17.32 (as indicated in the finder) Logic would only allow me to open a version saved at 14.21. Thus losing hours of work. I tried opening the time machine copy but got this message, "The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format. The file might be corrupted, truncated, or in an unexpected format." I don't know what to do, can anyone help? Many thanks
Atlas007
You could probably rebuild that version by importing its data into a fresh new program.
Singingdorito
Thankyou Atlas007, I did try that but it told me the version wasn't compatible. I noticed however that at the time the logic file stopped saving I had locked my computer screen as I went to do something else, leaving the project open. So I'm wondering if that process somehow corrupted the file and stopped it saving when I came back to it. I don't know if anyone else has experienced similar issues?
