Casper36
Hi, this is probably going to be the most basic question ever asked on here ha. Anyway, I'm new to Logic, and the issue I'm having is on opening a new project and importing an audio file (mp3) the audio is playing back at twice the speed, like speed scrolling. There must be a simple setting to prevent this – or why does it happen in the first place? I've looked at the audio prefs and can't see anything that would affect playback speed. Surely by default playback should be normal? Apologies if this is an incredibly simple fix but it has me stumped at the moment until I can correct the playback speed. Thanks in advance for any help. Solution fuzzfilth Posted October 8, 2021 Solution Share Posted October 8, 2021 There were a couple Logic versions which had this bug until they fixed it. Until you update, convert mp3 to WAV outside Logic, then import the WAV.
Atlas007
Which (exact) version of Logic are you using?
Casper36
Thanks! Updating resolved the issue. I'm using a shared family MacBook Pro which has Logic on it (10.4.3) and obviously hasn't been updated in a while. Really appreciate you taking the time to reply and help. Thanks again.
