CShorte
How do I get rid of the extra space created on importing audio tracks. That is remove the -x space that is created before the start time of the project. Thanks.
fuzzfilth
I don't get negative space when importing audio, so please explain, with screenshots, what exactly you do to make this happen.
Atlas007
Perhaps those audio files contain some kind of time stamps (or SMPTE code) for their (bar/time) starting position?
David Nahmani
Do you mean that the project start marker moves so that you're seeing negative bar numbers? Are you importing the files in a brand new empty project or some custom template? If the latter then make sure all your Smart Tempo settings (File > Project Settings > Smart Tempo) are the default ones, like these:
CShorte
Yes, I was using a template project and making the suggested changes fixed my file import problem of negative space. Thank you.
