nonwovenswabs
I can't get this to work. What could be the problem? The tempo does not change. See video:
Atlas007
Have you tried moving the playhead within the region that was just recorded? Have you checked in the tempo global track? Edited November 5, 2022 by Atlas007
polanoid
Usually it takes a bit of time for Logic to finish analysing the recorded audio (depending on your computer hardware I guess), so your video might end a bit prematurely. What happens if you wait a bit?
nonwovenswabs
Hmm, wondering if it could be something with the audio settings. As you can see in the latest video, it works fine with midi. I also have the same problem when I use Adapt-tempo with audio. video:

Can you try to create a new user account on your Mac, and try it again there?
nonwovenswabs
Yes, now it also works with audio after I changed users. Something I have noticed is that when I switched to a new user, the region automatically goes to variable. While Logic in the other account goes to constant. Could this be the problem? Solution nonwovenswabs Posted November 6, 2022 Author Solution Share Posted November 6, 2022 Finally got it to work. I just reset the Logic Pro settings. Perhaps this was the only solution.
David Nahmani
Great, thanks for sharing. Yes indeed when things work in a new user account then it is typically a sign of a (formerly known as preference) settings file gone corrupted, as seems to have been the case for you. Good to hear you got it to work as expected by trashing that preference/setting file.
