bluearrow
I am trying to find an old Logic File (Maybe Logic 9) approx 2008. I have backup on a hard drive. I bounced out a final called "artist.aif". Can find this file in old iTunes Folders. I am worried I may have bounced out...under another name........ then renamed "Artists" and manually added to iTunes library I cannot remember if logic 9 bounced directly into iTunes or into a Bounce folder.??? I cannot find by date or searching all Bounce Folders of that approx date. I was using FF Volcano? Not sure if you can search Logic files by the plugins used????? Trying to find some link between this file and original Logic file. I have had 3-4 new machines over that time. Thanks in advance

wonshu
It is possible to find out which plugins are used in a Logic Project. It requires: - binary file reading in a text editor of the file "Project Data" that is in every .logigx bundle - regex over that with however Volcano will look like (you need to find that out first I guess) - then doing a batch over all your Logic projects on all your machines. All of this can be learned and found out and done even if you're not a seasoned programmer with a little bit of help from stackexchange.com We cannot know, how you organised your files over time. As a side note for anyone reading this: whenever you bounce a mix of a project always make sure that you have a corresponding Logic project file with the same name.
