kedixo
(Screen recording attached below where you can watch this happening) I have a grouping of tracks that is nicely balanced. However, my drum track gain is too high and the drum track itself is clipping. I'm trying to select all the "balanced" tracks and lower the volume of all equally (so that they stay balanced as they are now while getting lowered volume) but I have a problem — for SOME of the tracks I'm selecting, the volume leaps UP the moment I begin to slide the volume down. It ruins the balance and I don't know how to stop it. I want all the tracks selected to move in tandem as I raise or lower. asdfasdfasdfasdf.mov Edited February 3, 2023 by kedixo update
Atlas007
Any automation involved?
kedixo
there is no automation, though I did notice that my automation for some tracks is set to read > trim. could that be the cause?
Solution kedixo Posted February 5, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted February 5, 2023 That was it! Figured it out. The ones that were jumping up had read > trim or read > relative, others did not. I turned that off it worked. Thanks!
