Nola111 Posted June 24, 2023 Share Posted June 24, 2023 Maybe I'm losing my mind, but for over a year I've had my Track Color settings under Settings -> Display -> Tracks set to Auto-assign-96 colors. Am I wrong in assuming that this applies to Software Instrument tracks as well (I mean why wouldn't it, right)? Well, since updating to 10.7.8 (I think, again unless I'm losing my mind) when I create new Software Instrument tracks, they all create as the default green tracks. I checked some older projects and they all have different colors for the different software instrument tracks, and I definitely didn't do that manually. Is there something I'm missing such as some condition for what needs to happen for one software instrument track to color itself something different from another? It looks like the function is working fine for audio files, and it's also working fine for Markers, which I also have set to auto-assign.
