emagic AMT8, Logic, Octatrack tempo going to the max

SUbject basically tells you what's happening. I just updated my studio computer to Ventura and current Logic, I installed the Unitor Driver V3. My octatrack is starting when I hit play within Logic but the tempo/clock is going to the max on the Octrack.

Meanwhile, my overbridge midi devices (Digitone/RYTMmk2) are working perfectly.

Please help, i just went through hell troubleshooting Logic and decided to create a new user, creating the new user fixed all my issues except this one.

help would be much appreciated, this is the first time in years I've had a technical problem in Logic.

It might be worth downloading and installing Snoize’ s MIDIMonitor to see where/what is generating the clock/tempo messages

good idea, i could also just use thru on my machines for now as well. i only use midi for clock. i record audio. 

i’ll report back here in a few hours. i should mention, where the hell is the environment? i wasn’t able to find it yesterday in the updated logic.

I think it's time that I get a new midi interface. my 828 es is sending midi properly, and the elektron's. Yup, it's time.
